After upgrading from Ubuntu Feisty to Ubuntu Gutsy, I have a problem with the second head of my dual head setup.
This head is for TV output, so it is 720×576.
I had no problems before upgrading, but afterwards:
I can only see half of the gnome panel at the top.
I can’t see the panel at the bottom […]

x11vnc is a program to allow you to control your X11 display using VNC.
When using an OpenGL app, such as MythTV, Google Earth or beryl, x11vnc does not notice when the screen changes.
My workaround for this is to use “x11vnc -noxdamage”.
Update: disabling page flipping in nvidia-settings helps x11vnc too.
